Millie has been enjoying her lovely hand-me-downs from her Cali cousins (thanks Jules and Emma!). She's currently wearing size 12 or 18 month clothing (80 euro, Nana). She has even outgrown her "bumbo" seat, and we didn't even use it yet. This weekend is the biannual consignment sale in Peekskill, so we're hoping to get a fall/winter jacket and maybe a few other cold weather things.
Today we went to the bookstore to look for a "touch and feel" book, because Millie has been really interested in textures lately. She scratches on the living room pillows and on the buckle to her carseat (and on Mama's chest, ahem). Last night she fell asleep with her arm wrapped around her head, stroking her own hair. It was very sweet.
Tomorrow Millie and I are attending a "Breastfeeding Tea" at the hospital. Not exactly sure what that entails, but I guess we'll find out soon.
After some much anticipated Daddy snuggle time, Millie is asleep on her bed upstairs.
